( 1 ) Set point control of flow thru On -Off valves . Set flow allotment for users utilizing <br /> existing flow meters and automatic shut- off . Excess supply flow will be sent to the storage <br /> tank thru an automatic valve and totalizing flow meter based on pumping rates from the <br /> west and Central Plants . The Bent Pine Rib control valve will only be operable in the <br /> manual mode and will show an alarm when in the open position . <br /> ( 2 ) Manual flow control . All automatic valves can be opened - closed and modulated by the <br /> operator . The storage tank pump discharge pressure set- point can be controlled through <br /> an interface with the pump PLC system controller . <br /> ( 3 ) Level Control ' . New level control on user ponds will shut off feed valve on a high level set <br /> point . Excess flow will be sent to the storage tank . <br /> Existing demand locations with auto valves , totalizing flow meters , RTU ' s and level indicators : <br /> 1 . Redstick Golf Course ' <br /> 2 . Sandridge DunesGolf Course <br /> 3 . Sandridge Lakes Golf Course <br /> 4 . Hawks Nest golf course <br /> 5 . Grand Harbor <br /> 6 . Johns Island West Golf Course <br /> 7 . Bent Pine RIB <br /> 8 . Reuse Storage Tank Inlet & Outlet3 <br /> The system design should incorporate the ability to expand to 20 system users . The control <br /> panel will show a schematic with valve positions ( open -close , % open ) , pond levels , pond feed <br /> rate with totalizer (gpm /d ) , tank level , tank feed rate with totalizer ( gpm /d ) , tank pump rate with <br /> totalizer ( gpm /d ) , tank pump pressure ( psig ) , tank high level alarm ( s ) , tank pump failure alarm , <br /> tank pressure alarm , tank general alarm , RIB alarm , West WWTF reuse pump rate with <br /> totalizer ( gpm /d ) , Central WWTF reuse pump rate with totalizer ( gpm /d ) . All valves will show <br /> an alarm if the control position is not met . <br /> Historical logs will be maintained for tank feed rate with totalizer , tank pump pressure , pump <br /> discharge quantity with totalizer , tank level , user pond feed rates with totalizer and all system <br /> alarms . Log should be stored for 12 months . <br /> The storage tank will be controlled by the local PLC ( by others ) . Remote control of the pump <br /> discharge pressure will be incorporated to allow local and remote set point changes . Pump <br /> rotation , VFD and level controls will all be accomplished by the local PLC . The local PLC level <br /> control ( s ) will override any remote tank feed valve command position selected by the reuse <br /> distribution system operator . Other monitoring inputs as specified above will be obtained from <br /> the local pump control PLC . <br /> Note : 1 Level elements are located in pond pump house wet wells . Red Stick has no level <br /> control . <br /> 2 Hawks Nest requires operators to be installed on ( 2 ) remote valves with 4 ' valve <br /> extensions along with the pond feed valve operator and also the connection of a <br /> disconnected remote magnetic flow meter . Additionally , the adjacent telemetry <br /> antenna has been inoperable to transmit data due to location . <br /> 01000 Summary Of Work Reuse distribution <br /> 01000 - 2 <br />
