WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 1969 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on <br />Wednesday, January 8, 1969 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Jack U. <br />Dritenbas, Chairman; D. '13. McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman,; Richard P. <br />Bogosian, Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. Massey. Also present were Jack <br />G. Jennings, County Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, Jr., County <br />Attorney; Ralph Harris, Clerk; and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Burriss, <br />Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there were <br />any additions or corrections to the minutes of December 4, 11,18'and-.27. <br />There were none and upon a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, <br />seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried the minutes <br />of December4, 11,x18 and 27th -were approved as written. <br />The Chairman welcomed the new members of the Board and they <br />reported that they had received their commissions as follows: <br />D. B. McCullers, Jr. No. SE 603 <br />Alma Lee Loy No. SE 576 <br />Edward J. Massey No. SE 683' <br />Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman, then turned the chair over to <br />Sherman N. Smith, County Attorney, who asked for nominations for <br />Chairman of the Board. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that Jack U. Dritenbas be reappointed <br />° as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. <br />Chairman Dritenbas then took the Chair and asked for nominations <br />for Vice Chairman. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy and unanimously carried that Richard P. Bogosian be appointed <br />Vice Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. <br />The Chairman then asked for appointments for County Attorney, <br />County Administrator and County Welfare Caseworker. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, Sherman N.
