WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 1969 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on Wednesday, January 8, 1969 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; D. '13. McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman,; Richard P. Bogosian, Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, Jr., County Attorney; Ralph Harris, Clerk; and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Burriss, Deputy Clerks. The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of December 4, 11,18'and-.27. There were none and upon a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried the minutes of December4, 11,x18 and 27th -were approved as written. The Chairman welcomed the new members of the Board and they reported that they had received their commissions as follows: D. B. McCullers, Jr. No. SE 603 Alma Lee Loy No. SE 576 Edward J. Massey No. SE 683' Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman, then turned the chair over to Sherman N. Smith, County Attorney, who asked for nominations for Chairman of the Board. A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that Jack U. Dritenbas be reappointed ° as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. Chairman Dritenbas then took the Chair and asked for nominations for Vice Chairman. A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner Loy and unanimously carried that Richard P. Bogosian be appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. The Chairman then asked for appointments for County Attorney, County Administrator and County Welfare Caseworker. On a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian, Sherman N. Smith, Jr. was unanimously reappointed as County 01 Attorney. 14. JAN 8NS)
