SECTION 01610 <br /> TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT <br /> 1 . 3 PRODUCT HANDLING <br /> A . Provide equipment and personnel necessary to handle products , including <br /> those provided by OWNER , by methods to prevent soiling or damage to <br /> products or packaging . <br /> B . Provide additional protection during handling as necessary to prevent scraping , <br /> marring or otherwise damaging products or surrounding surfaces . <br /> C . Handle products by methods to prevent bending or overstressing . <br /> D . Lift heavy components only at designated lifting points . <br /> E . Materials and equipment shall at all times be handled in a safe manner and as <br /> recommended by manufacturer or supplier so that no damage will occur to <br /> them . Do not drop , roll or skid products off delivery vehicles .
