QUESTIONS FROMPLANHOLDERS 1 . Can the county please provide the bid form for project 2013008-0-20131jh in Excel format. There are 3 portions of this bid form an a total of 30 pages. It doesn 't matter if the cells are locked to provide the county with added securityjust having it in Excel will allow us to work more efficiently. No. Indian River County will not supply an Excel spreadsheet of the bid schedule. Indian River County will require the Itemized Bid Schedule in the Contract Documents to be filled- nut and submitted as part of your bid package to maintain consistency in the format. 2. On page 002004 of the Instructions to Bidders under section 3. 01 paragraph 7 it states that all bidders must be prequal f ed with the FDOT . On page 00310-2 of the Bid Form it further states that the Bidder is to be FDOT certified for Road and Bridge construction. Will you accept an FDOT certified Road contractor as the Prime contractor and an FDOT certified Bridge contractor as the Subcontractor for this project? Yes. 3. Can you provide an Autocad file for this project? Indian River County will provide an AutoCad file of the design to the winning bidder. We will not provide the CAD files in the bidding phase to any planholders 4. The P attachment calls out an "Appendix C — Exhibits ". The 2"d attachment has no callout for same. "Appendix C — Exhibits " section could not be found in the bid documents. Please confirm that there should be, or not, an "Appendix C- Exhibits " An Appendix C labeled "Exhibits " is not apart of the subject contract documents. It was an oversight by Indian River County to include that language in Section 00520 Article 9- Contract Documents. . 5. Description ofpay item 6334214 is Cable-Fiber Optic (F&I) (Underground) (Single) (1-25), What singlemode fiber optic strand count is required for this project? 12 strand singlemode fiber or 24 strand singlemode fiber? A 96 strand singlemode fiber will be required on the trunk line and 12 strand singlemode fiber at the signalized intersections. The Itemized Bid Schedule has been revised to include an additional pay item reflecting the 96 strand fiber. 6. On the tabulation of quantitiespage there is a quantity of 2, 239feet offiber for drawing T 10 but . on the actual drawing T- 10 it shows only details ofsigns and signal heads: Is the quantity of 2, 239 feet shown on the tabulation of quantities page T- 10 supposed to be listed in the T-11 column and if so shouldn 't the total quantity ofpay item 633-121 -1 on drawing T-11 be 2, 568 feet? The correct quantity should be 2, 739-LF. Sheet T-11, Sheet 31 and the Itemized Bid Schedule has been revised to reflect the changes accordingly. 7. On the tabulation of quantities page there is a zero quantity ofpay item 633-1214 for thawing T- 14 but on the actual drawing T44 there is a quantity of441 feet ofpay item 6334214 Cable Fiber Optic (F&I) (Underground) (Single) (145). Should the tabulation of quantitiespage be adjusted to show this amount?
