position in the matter. Commissioner Bogosian reported on the findings of the Long Range Planning Council. It was recommended by the Council that the County is in need of a full time planner. The Council also recommended that with the growth on the beach another bridge across the Indian River was going to be needed in the not too distant future. The Council felt that the bridge should be immediately considered., The County Administrator was requested to gather the new information for the bridge for presentation to the State Road Department, and to put it on the primary road list. The Chairman then appointed Commissioner Bogosian as a representative to discuss with the City the possibility of establishing a joint City -County Planning Authority. On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey the State Witness Payroll for the County Court, November, 1968 Term in the amount of $207.96; the State Witness Payroll for the Circuit Court for the Fall, 1968 Term in the amount of $757.16; and the State Witness Payroll for the County Court, November Term 1968 in the amount of $40.00 were unanimously approved On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian, the out of County travel of Forrest N. McCullars, County Agricultural Agent to Belle Glade on Febuary 6 to attend Administrative Conference and to Fort Pierce on February 13 to attend Chilian Nitrate meeting; and the out of County travel of Gladys Vigliano to Jacksonville on February 23 thru 25 to attend the Meeting of the Florida Association of County Welfare Executives was unanimously approved. A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that Gene E. Morris, County Tax Collector be authorized to purchase four chairs at the best price available, not to exceed $500.00.
