The Chairman reported that after reviewing southbound roads <br />off of State Route #60, with W. W. Duncan, supervisor of outdoor <br />signs for traffic routing, it was found that none of the roads <br />were suitable for the turning of heavy trucks. The Administrator <br />reported that he had taken this matter up with Mr. Remus of the <br />State Road Department and that John Wilson, of the State Road <br />Department would come to Vero Beach next Tuesday at 10;00 o'clock <br />and would make his recommendations about'. redesigning these <br />intersections. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried that the County <br />Administrator and the County Attorney start immediately to pursue <br />the acquisition of the parking lot property by condemnation, or <br />otherwise. <br />Commissioner Loy then reported on three recommendations as <br />offered by the Indian River County Dog Committee. <br />1. That licenses may be issued by Vetinarians . <br />2. That licensing period be extended to May 31. <br />3. That a Dog -Warden be employed. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey, <br />the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />APR 23,7969 <br />4Lir <br />
