From time to time , the OWNER or ENGINEER will inspect the pollution control and <br /> treatment system and may take effluent samples for analysis by a testing laboratory <br /> selected and paid for by the OWNER . If at any time , the OWNER or ENGINEER <br /> determines that the pollution control and treatment system is not in compliance with <br /> the approved system , the OWNER or ENGINEER will shut the portion of the project <br /> down that is not in compliance , and it shall remain shut-down until the pollution <br /> control and treatment system is properly constructed or repaired , and complies with <br /> the approved pollution control and treatment system plans and specifications . <br /> C . Schedule construction to minimize erosion and stormwater runoff from the <br /> construction site . Implement erosion control measures on disturbed areas as soon <br /> as practicable in portions of the site where construction activities have temporarily or <br /> permanently ceased , but in no case more than 7 days after the construction activity <br /> in that portion of the site has temporarily or permanently ceased . In addition to <br /> other temporary erosion control measures that may be implemented , application of <br /> polyacrylamide is required on all such disturbed areas within 7 days after the <br /> construction activity in that portion of the site has temporarily or permanently <br /> ceased , unless final landscaping has been installed .
