On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried, the Administrator was authorized <br />to follow-up on the memorandum, dated May 19, 1969 regarding the <br />safety correction on State and County Roads as recommended by Trooper <br />R. W. Harms, Florida State Department of Public Safety. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy and unanimously carried the request of the Floralton Beach <br />Association to place water mains on County Right -of -Way was granted <br />with the understanding that a cut through any road would be put back <br />into the condition prior to the cut. <br />Letters were received from William T. Ashley, President and <br />J. B. Norton, Jr., Executive Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce <br />of Indian River County; and from John S. Sherman, Jr., President of <br />the Vero Beach Board of Realtors commending the Board of County <br />Commissioners on their adoption of Resolution 69-22, appertaining to <br />the employment of an experienced, qualified County and City Planning <br />Consultant. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and unanimously carried, the Clerk is authorized to place <br />$30,000.00 on Time Deposit in the Beach Bank at Vero Beach. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy, and the State Witness Payroll for the County Court, February <br />Term in the amount of $155.72 was unanimously approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, the following Item to Item Transfer was unanimously approved: <br />ITEM TO ITEM TRANSFER <br />General Fund From <br />90796 Contingency Reserve $2,400.00 <br />20702 Salaries of Assistants & Clerks <br />Fine and Forfeiture Fund <br />94196 Contingency Reserve <br />84182 Equipment <br />84182 Equipment <br />34102 Salaries <br />34140 Expenses other than Salaries <br />$1,000.00 <br />13,650.00 <br />To <br />$2,400.00 <br />$1,000.00 <br />7,650.00 <br />6,000.00 <br />$14,650.00 $14,650.00 <br />MAY' 1 buj 11T) <br />
