On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy, the request of the Small Claims Court of Indian River County <br />to purchase 2 Over -file storage cabinets at a cost of $41.50 was <br />unanimously approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey the renewal of the pistol permits for Rachel H. Moody and <br />for George C. Havenner were unanimously approved. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, and the request of Miles B. Mank I1, County Judge to attend <br />the National Council of Juvenile Court Judges annual conference to <br />be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on the week beginning July 13th was <br />unanimously approved. <br />Michael O'Haire, acting as County Attorney,advised the Board of <br />County Commissioners that the durational residency requirements <br />previously required by Indian River County for welfare benefits were <br />now invalid and that a resolution would be prepared to this effect. <br />The May 9 Report of Inspection by the Florida Division of <br />Corrections on the Indian River County Jail was received and ordered <br />filed in the office of the Clerk. <br />Report No. 7147 by the Legislative,Auditor, which was made on <br />the audit of the accounts and records of the Board of Commissioners <br />of the Florida Inland Navigation District, for the period beginning <br />January 1, 1966 and ending June 30, 1968 was received and ordered filed <br />in the office of the Clerk. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, the out of County travel of Forrest McCullers, County <br />Agricultural Agent to Fort Pierce on May 15 to attend Vegetable Field <br />Day, and to Lake Placid on June 3rd and 4th to attend South Florida <br />Citrus Institute and to Lake Alfred on June 18 to attend Citrus <br />Training Meeting for County Agents was unanimously approved. <br />Commissioner Bogosian reported that he had received a phone call <br />regarding the corner of 43rd Avenue and Walker Avenue which had become <br />over -grown with brush and grass. The matter was referred to the <br />1;11,?, 198 <br />Administrator. <br />
