MONDAY, AUGUST, 11, 1969
<br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida met in special session as the Board of Equalization, at
<br />the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on Monday, August 11, 1969,
<br />at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Richard P. Bogosian, acting
<br />Chairman; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. Massey. Absent were Jack
<br />U. Dritenbas, Chairman; and D. B. McCullers, Jr. Also present
<br />were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, -'Jr.,
<br />County Attorney; and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy
<br />Clerks. Absent was Homer C. Fletcher, County Tax Assessor.
<br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and the hour of
<br />8:30 o'clock having passed, the Clerk read the following notice
<br />with proof of publication attached to -wit:

<br />says that he is Business Manager of the Vero Beach Press -Journal, a weekly newspaper
<br />published at Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida; that the attached copy of advertise-

<br />Affiant further says that the said Vero Beach Press Journal is a newspaper published at

<br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida
<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of adver-
<br />tisement; and affiant further says that he has. neither paid nor promised any person, firm or
<br />corporation any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this adver-
<br />tisement for publication in the said newspaper.

<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
<br />that the Tax Assessor of Indian
<br />River County, Florida, -did meet
<br />with the Board of County Commis-
<br />sioners of• Indian River County,
<br />Florida, on July 23, 1969, for the
<br />purpose of hearing complaints and
<br />receiving testimony as to the value
<br />of any property, real or personal,
<br />as fixed by said assessor and of
<br />Perfecting, reviewing and equaliz-
<br />ing the assessment rolls of
<br />said county for the year
<br />1969. At that time, said Board did
<br />deem it necessary to and did ex-
<br />tend the time for The completion of
<br />such assessment rolls to 1\Iond?y,
<br />August 11, 1969, at the hour of 8:30
<br />o'clock A. i\L, to v.hieh the first
<br />meeting was adjourned, at which
<br />time said E.card kill convene in the
<br />Commissioners' Room of the Lidian
<br />River County Courthouse, Vero
<br />Beach, Florida, to meet with the
<br />County Tax Assessor for the afore-
