The Chairman reported that the tax rolls have been completed <br />and are in order but that they have not yet been approved by the <br />Comptroller. On.a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried, the Meeting of the Board <br />of Equalization was.adjourned until Wednesday,August 1,3 at 8:30 A. M. <br />The Board then adjourned as Board of Equalization and reconvened <br />as Board of County Commissioners. <br />The tax rolls not having been accepted, a Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously <br />carried that the Budget Meeting be adjourned until Wednesday, August <br />1'3 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Fred Prestin, Civil Defense Director, reported to the Board <br />that the Radio Bids received on Wednesday, August 6, had been <br />evaluated and that it was his recommendation that the bids were <br />excessive in price, and he requested that the radio be re -advertised. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner <br />Loy, it was unanimously carried that the bids submitted for the <br />Radio for the Civil Defense Department on August 6 were excessive <br />in price and authorization was given for readvertisement. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, the following Item to Item Transfer was unanimously approved: <br />ITEM TO ITEM TRANSFER <br />Fine and Forfeiture Fund <br />A/C From <br />94196 Contingency Fund $6,625.00. <br />34140 Expenses other than Salaries <br />84182 Equipment <br />$6,625.00 <br />To <br />$5,990.00 <br />635.00 <br />$6,625.00 <br />There being no further business, on Motion made seconded and <br />carried the Board then adjourned at 9:00 o'clock A.
