2. Pierson Enterprises would like a contract renewable every year <br />would be unable to post $500.00 bond as this money would be <br />used to procure equipment. Would remove the cars at the cost <br />of $10.00 each to their property. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and unanimously carried that the first offer by Mr. Chaffee <br />be accepted. <br />A letter was received from Ney C. Landrum, Associate Director, <br />Division of Recreation and Parks stating that an amount up to <br />$50,000.00 matching funds would be available in the development <br />of Round Island Park. On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, <br />seconded by Commissioner Loy, it was unanimously carried that the <br />Board authorizes representatives of the Board of County Commissioners <br />to go to Tallahassee to discuss the proposal as set forth in the <br />letter of August 29, 1969 from Mr. Ney C. Landrum, Associate <br />Director, Division of Recreation and Parks. <br />Three letters were received from the owners of the land on either <br />side of Rebel Road requesting that they be permitted to place a fence <br />across the road, as it was a dead end and only reached through their <br />groves. A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy and unanimously carried that they be informed that <br />it was illegal to place a fence across a public road, unless it <br />be vacated and abandoned. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, the request of LeRoy White for zoning permits for Lot 1, <br />Block 1, proposed Lowe's Park Subdivision was unanimously approved <br />as it meets with the requirements. <br />A letter was received from Fondron Mitchell requesting the County <br />to clear and open a County road. A Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that the <br />Administrator acknowledge the letter and make an on the site <br />investigation and return his recommendations to the Board. <br />
