WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1969 <br />The Baird of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday, October 8, 1969 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Jack U..Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian, <br />Vice Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Sherman N. Smith, Jr., County Attorney and Alfred H. Webber and Janet <br />N: Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and. asked if there <br />were any additions or corrections to the minutes of September 24. <br />Commissioner Loy stated that on Page 1, Paragraph 3, the word park <br />should be changed to read project. This correction having been made, <br />a Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that the Minutes of September 24 <br />were unanimously approved as corrected. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, appeared before the <br />Board in regard to Zoning violations. He stated that if some of <br />the violations weren't taken care of by the 15th of the month, <br />further action would betaken.. <br />Mrs. Annie Mae Brown and other residents of -the Pineview area <br />appeared before the Board in regard to the high coloration of the <br />water and the lack of pressure in the system. A Motion was made <br />by Commissiore r Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and <br />unanimously carried that the Administrator -be authorized to write <br />a letter to Urban Development Utilities, copies to be sent to the <br />State Board of Health and to the Farmer's Home Administration, that <br />the appearance of the water furnished to Pineview Park Subdivision <br />by Urban Development Utilities must be on a comparative basis as <br />the water furnished to the City of Vero Beach or the County will <br />revoke the franchise. <br />The Chairman then left the meeting and Vice Chairman Bogosian <br />became acting Chairman. vat PAc 344 <br />OCT 81969 <br />
