The Attorney to the Board reported that three or four <br />condemnation suits were now in process and that since these suits <br />were started by the former Attorney to the Board, if desired by <br />the Board, they would be handled by the firm of the former Attorney <br />to the Board, at a cost to the County Commissioners, of $35.00 per <br />hour. On a Motion made by Commissioner, Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy, it was unanimously carried that the pending <br />condemnation suits were to be handled by the firm of the former <br />Attorney to the Board, at a cost, to the County of $35.00 per hour. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey, Paul D. Burch, present Attorney to the Board <br />of County Commissioners is to receive,a salary of $15,000.00 per year,. <br />all inclusive. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey, the State Witness Payroll for the Fall Term of the Circuit <br />Court; and the State Witness Payroll for the August Term of the <br />County Court in the amounts of $21.96 and $155.00 respectively <br />were unanimously approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, the out of County travel of Forrest N. McCullars, County <br />Agricultural Agent to the University of Florida to attend the <br />Florida DARE Meetings on October 29 through October 31, and to <br />Miami to attend the State Horticultural Society Annual Convention <br />on November 5 through November 7; and the out of County travel of <br />Fred Prestin, Civil Defense Director to Starke Surplus Sale, and <br />permission to conduct Radiological Training Course at the Civil <br />Defense Office; and the out of County travel of Gladys Vigliano, <br />County Welfare Caseworker, to a Welfare Conference at Winter Park <br />on October 24; were unanimously approved. <br />A letter from the Board of County Commissioners of Santa <br />Rosa County, Florida regarding the Tort Claims Act was received. <br />and placed on file in the office of the Clerk. <br />The quarterly financial report was received from Henry Thompson, <br />1? 171 <br />O C t 2 2 1969 <br />Piot 12 4,395 <br />
