Upon approval of <br /> the draft bidding package , Geosyntec will send the bidding packages to a minimum of <br /> three Pollutant Storage System Contractors (PSSCs) , coordinate and attend a pre -bid <br /> meeting and respond to any bidder questions . Upon receipt of PSSC bids , Geosyntec will <br /> evaluate the bids , recommend the lowest qualified subcontractor and prepare and submit <br /> a turn-key proposal to IRC which includes Geosyntec ' s costs for implementing the UST <br /> closure, remediation activities , contractor oversight, environmental monitoring and <br /> sampling in accordance with Chapter 62 -761 , FAC , and reporting activities . <br /> We have developed a task-based approach to group field activities and accomplish this work in <br /> an organized and cost-effective manner . The remainder of this letter provides a description of <br /> the proposed scope of work and a budget estimate to accomplish the work described herein <br /> (Attachment A) . <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Task 1 : Field Work Preparation <br /> Prior to initiating field activities , Geosyntec will update a Site - Specific Health & Safety Plan <br /> ( SSH& SP) , in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR Part 1910 . Additionally , Geosyntec <br /> will procure the ground penetrating radar (GPR) subcontractor, drilling subcontractor, analytical <br /> laboratory, collect and organize the field sampling equipment, and coordinate the field work with <br /> IRC personnel . <br /> Task 2 : Field Activities <br /> Project field activities will consist of the following subtasks : <br /> • Immediately prior to the initiation of drilling activities , Geosyntec personnel will meet <br /> with a utility locate subcontractor to perform an underground utility locate to clear all <br /> proposed drilling locations prior to the performance of any subsurface ground penetrating <br /> work. <br /> XR10109lCCR10024.
