O . Plant , Facility #9600729 <br /> Vero Beach, FL 32962 <br /> Dear Mr. Southard, <br /> Geosyntec Consultants (Geosyntec) is pleased to submit this fee proposal to Indian River County <br /> (IRC) for professional services required to provide reporting documentation to respond to Florida <br /> Department of Environmental Protection' s (FDEP ' s) correspondence dated 23 May 2011 . The <br /> FDEP correspondence was generated based upon a review of Geosyntec ' s 28 October 2010 <br /> report, October 2010 Natural Attenuation Monitoring Report, North RO Plant, Facility <br /> #9600729. Based upon FDEP ' s correspondence, two additional sampling events are warranted <br /> in order to confirm plume stability. The following conditions apply to the FDEP request : <br /> • The wells and piezometers to be sampled are MW03 , MW05, MW06, MW07, PZI S, PZ17, <br /> PZ21 , PZ22, PZ23, PZ24 and PZ26. <br /> • Two groundwater sampling events will be completed. <br /> The parameters of analysis shall be total dissolved solids, chloride, sodium and sulfate <br /> for groundwater samples . The field measurements during purging shall be temperature, <br /> pH, specific conductance, turbidity and dissolved oxygen . Purging and sampling methods <br /> in the Department 's Standard Operating Procedures shall be followed. <br /> • Reports for each groundwater monitoring event shall include a cumulative summary <br /> table of all groundwater monitoring results including from assessment phases. The <br /> parameters reported in the table shall be pH, turbidity, total dissolved solids, chloride, <br /> sulfate and sodium. Reports shall contain a map depicting the direction of groundwater <br /> XR 1 1179/CCR 1 1065 , 130C <br /> engineers I scientists I innovators <br />
