Mr. Mike Nixon Geosyntec ° <br /> 30 November 2009 consultants <br /> Page 6 <br /> • brief description of field activities ; <br /> • summary tables of the groundwater sampling results and groundwater elevations ; <br /> • maps that provide a summary of the groundwater sampling results and provide a <br /> summary of the groundwater elevations ; and <br /> • recommendations . <br /> ASSUMPTIONS <br /> The following assumptions were made in developing this fee proposal : <br /> • All site work can be performed in Level D personal protective equipment. <br /> • Geosyntec will be able to work unimpeded Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 pm. <br /> • Geosyntec has assumed that liquids generated during the monitoring well purging and <br /> sampling will be discharged directly onto the ground adjacent to the monitoring well (for <br /> percolation or evaporation) . <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Geosyntec anticipates that upon approval from IRC, site assessment addendum activities will be <br /> initiated within four weeks . It is anticipated that the monitoring well sampling results will be <br /> available approximately two weeks after completion of the sampling. The draft SARA will be <br /> provided to IRC within four weeks of completion of field activities . <br /> ESTIMATED BUDGET <br /> The fee proposal is provided as Attachment B . The total estimated budget to complete the work <br /> described in the fee proposal is $31 ,432 (which includes the 100 % contingency on Task 2) . <br /> CLOSURE <br /> Geosyntec appreciates the opportunity to submit to IRC the attached fee proposal (Attachment <br /> B) for services at the site . If this proposal is acceptable to you, please indicate your agreement <br /> by signing the Work Authorization, which references this proposal .
