W ..at <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey and the out of County travel of George Stokes, <br />County Service Officer to St. Petersburg on Wednesday, December 17, <br />on Veteran's affairs was unanimously approved. <br />The Clerk reported that figures for the new insurance would <br />be ready in a short time; and, at the request of the Board stated <br />that thin information could be given to the other Insurance Agencies <br />in the County by January 8th. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried that the Clerk reply to the letter <br />received from D. G. Frisby, Mayor of the City of Fellsmere regarding <br />a pistol permit issued to Fred O'Dell of the Fellsmere Inn on March <br />5, 1969; and that the Sheriff advise Mr. O'Dell that the permit was <br />issued only for the purpose of protection during banking trips. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy, the request of B. T. Cooksey, Attorney, representing <br />Florida Cablevision Corporation and Marvin Jones; for a non-exclusive <br />permit to use County rights-of-way and easements for the installation <br />of a Cablevision system in Indian River County was unanimously <br />approved subject to formalization of the Resolution. <br />Roy Chapin and James L. Hair appeared before the Board in <br />regard to dredging in the Indian River by Lost Tree Village <br />Corporation. Mr. Hair stating that upon modification of the plans, <br />he had no further objection to the application; and a Motion was <br />made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian that <br />this Board, on request, grants its approval to the Corp of Engineers <br />permit #69-700. Commissioner McCullers and Commissioner Massey <br />voted against the Motion. Chairman Dritenbas then voted for the <br />Motion and the Motion was carried. At this time the Chairman made <br />a recommendation that a Committee be formed to work with the Angler's <br />Club and other conservation groups in an attempLto establish some <br />r <br />LI Et 1 7 1969 <br />
