The CONTRACTOR shall obtain and pay for all other required permits and licenses . The CONTRACTOR shall provide copies of the permits to the OWNER and ENGINEER and shall comply with all conditions contained in the permits at no extra cost to the OWNER . C . The CONTRACTOR shall be familiar with all permit requirements during construction and shall be responsible for complying with these requirements . The cost of this effort shall be included in the pay item in which the work is most closely associated with . SC - 13 . 03 Test and Inspections SC- 13 . 03 . 8 . Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC43. 03. 8 in its entirety, and insert the following sentences in its place: A . Contractor shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing laboratory to perform all initial inspections , tests , or approvals required by the Contract Documents , testing shall be done in accordance with the FDOT Sampling, Testing and Reporting Guide by Material Description and the FDOT Materials Manual (Topic No. 675-000-000) . FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction ( including all modification such as supplemental and special provisions ) must be used . The Owner will be responsible for all project level inspection , verification testing , and insuring all data is entered into LIMS ( Laboratory Information Management System ) , 13 . 05 OWNER May Stop the Work SC- 13 . 05 . A. Delete paragraph GC- 13. 05. A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its place: A .
