The Sheriff filed with the Board a statement of his <br />appointments of James D. Connell whose voting precinct is 2 A, <br />Arthur Lee Pound whose voting precinct is 2 C, James Vernon <br />Taylor whose voting precinct is 5, and of Arthur A. Griesser <br />whose voting precinct is 4A; as Deputy Sheriffs and the said <br />Deputy Sheriffs filed their Bonds with the Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court, which was presented to the Board. On a Motion made by <br />.Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously <br />carried,, the bonds of said Deputy Sheriffs were approved and <br />ordered filed with—the Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner.L•oy, the out of County travel of Fred Prestin, Civil - <br />Defense Director,. I. J. Rovang and George Cooke to Miami to attend <br />a RACES Seminar on January 17 and 18 was 9 unanimously approved. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and the State.Witness Payroll for the County Court, Fall <br />Term in the amount of $170.90 and the State Witness Payroll for <br />the County Court, November Term in the amount of $150.00 were <br />unanimously approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy the application of Joseph H. Rutter for <br />admission to enter a State Tuberculosis Hospital was unanimously <br />and retroactively approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey the out of County travel of Forrest N. McCullars, County <br />Extension Director of Agriculture to the University of Florida <br />on January the 7th and 8th to attend Administrative Conference <br />was unanimously approved. <br />The Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Lafayette County, Florida opposing consolidation of Counties in <br />the State of Florida was received and placed on file in the office <br />of the C le rk . <br />JAN,, r^d 1970 <br />7� <br />
