On a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION 70-4 <br />February 18, 1970 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 22079 of the laws of Florida, Indian <br />River County has acquired title to certain lands in said County, by reason <br />of tax delinquencies thereon and which lands are described in Final Decree <br />entered in the Circuit Court of Indian River County, Florida, on the 25th <br />day of November, 1969, being Case No. 69 - 289, and, <br />Said Chapter 22079 provides that the. Board of County Commissioners <br />shall determine the price of each parcel of said land and which shall <br />constitute the minimum price at which such lands shall be sold at competitive <br />bid and public sale as provided by said Chapter 22079, and further provides <br />that where such lands or any part of them are situated within the corporate <br />limits of a municipality or within a drainage district, the Mayor or Chief <br />Executive Officer, the head of the Legislative body, and the Tax Assessor <br />of such municipality and the Chairman of the drainage district shall meet <br />with the Board of County Commissioners and jointly agree with such Board, <br />and join in the determination of the price of such lands situate within such <br />municipality, and, <br />WHEREAS, the lands described in said Final Decree entered November <br />25, 1969, include lands situated within the City of Vero Beach, Florida, Indian <br />River Farms Drainage District, Sebastian River Drainage District, and the <br />Fellsmere Farm Drainage District; and, <br />WHEREAS, the officials of said municipality and drainage districts <br />having jointly agreed with the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County in the determination of the price of said lands and the price of such <br />property having been determined as aforesaid as to all of said properties, at <br />100 % of the last assessed valuation of said property as it appears upon the <br />County Tax Roll, therefore, <br />f -Ak U PAGE1en�7 <br />S <br />
