'� a a:.,�r! �y� I A�,,.� k � y" .fid 'k^x�� �K� Yp'i `° c <br />WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4, 1970 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday, March 4, 1970 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian, <br />Vice Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Alma Lee Loy and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; <br />Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there <br />were any additions or corrections to the Minutes of February 18, <br />1970. There were none and upon a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, <br />seconded'by Commissioner McCullers, the Minutes of February 18, <br />1970 were unanimously approved as written. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and unanimously carried that sixty days prior to the <br />expiration of the County's insurance coverage in 1973, the Board <br />of County Commissioners shall submit to all interested insurance <br />agents of the County a complete resume' of the current insurance <br />coverage and experience, and invite the submission of insurance <br />proposals. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector', reported that there <br />have been a great many violations removed and that people are <br />beginning to realize that they must comply with zoning regulations. <br />Valentyne Brennan, City -County Planning Director, appeared <br />before the Board and reported that he had received information from <br />Air and Water Pollution regarding grants for sewer construction; <br />that any County or Municipal Organization interested, should submit <br />an application before May 4, 1970. A Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Loy and unanimou§lly carrieA that <br />Valentyne Brennan, City County Planning Director, be authorized to <br />MAS ; J! �Y: '113 <br />
