<br /> • Planning to enhance security during heightened alerts, terrorist incidents, and/or during mitigation and recovery
<br /> • Multi-discipline preparation across first responder community, including EMS for response to catastrophic events and acts

<br /> hall meetings, and web postings coordinated through local Citizen Corps Councils or their equivalent
<br /> • Conducting public education campaigns including promoting suspicious activity reporting and preparedness; individual,
<br /> family, and organizational emergency preparedness; promoting the Ready campaign; and/or creating State, regional, or
<br /> local emergency preparedness efforts that build upon the Ready campaign

<br /> (TICPs) that align with the goals, objectives, and initiatives of the National Emergency Communications Plan (NECP)
<br /> • Developing protocols or standard operating procedures for specialized teams to incorporate the use of equipment acquired
<br /> through this grant program
<br /> • Developing terrorism prevention/protection plans
<br /> • Developing plans, procedures, and requirements for the management of infrastructure and resources related to HSGP and
<br /> implementation of State or Urban Area Homeland Security Strategies
<br /> • Developing plans for mass evacuation and pre-positioning equipment
<br /> • Developing or enhancing plans for responding to mass casualty incidents caused by any hazards
<br /> • Developing or enhancing applicable procedures and operational guides to implement the response actions within the local
