Jennings, <br />County Administrator to'St. Augustine on July 31 to attend an <br />.Asphalt Conference was unanimously approved. <br />9 <br />PETITION TO COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />Comes now the Petitioner, pursuant tv Florida Statutes <br />i <br />194.471, and petitions^thO--CWunty to convey to the Petitioner, <br />the property described below and shows unto the County*Com- <br />mission as follows: <br />1. Lot 3, Block 1, LORD CALVERT ESTATES, according <br />to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 5, Page <br />57, of the Public Records, of Indian River County, Fla., <br />2. The former owner was,The Church of God of Gifford, - <br />Florida. <br />3. The date of the Final,Decree was November 25, 1969, <br />under which the title to said -land was quited in the county. <br />4. The price of the land has not been previously fixed by <br />resolution of the board of county commissioners. <br />5. The use of the land was enjoyed as part of the property <br />of The Church of God of Gifford, Florida. <br />6. The Church of God of Gifford, Florida, which owned Lots <br />1 and 2 in Block 1, also purchased Lot 3, Block 1, deed to Ray <br />Lofton, as Trustee, recorded in Official Record Book 215, page <br />250. A new minister came to the Church, Reverend William <br />Carswell, and found that the Board of Trustees were unaware of <br />the fact the property had been taken by the County for non- <br />payment of taxes. <br />7. The Petitioner offers to pay an amount equal to all <br />taxes, if any, which has.become',delinquent, together with <br />interest and costs provided by law. <br />8. A certificate of the Clerk of the Circuit Court showing <br />the amount of deliquent taxes up to and including July 31, 1970, <br />in the amount of $104.16, is attached hereto and made a part of <br />the Petition. <br />FA GE <br />JUL 2 2 1970 <br />
