Sam Joyce, Sheriff, appeared in regard to <br />this condition and presented Reverend Stem from Wabasso and <br />Reverend Dillard from Gifford who wished to work with the County <br />in order to preserve fire protection for their respective areas. <br />A meeting of the Fire Protection Bodies, the above mentioned <br />Ministers, the Sheriff and interested individuals of the communities <br />was scheduled for 3:30 o'clock P. M. on Sunday at the Wabasso <br />Church. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey the plans of paving for the Food Market <br />parking lot on North Gifford Road and 25th Avenue dated July 1970 <br />were unanimously approved. <br />Charles Smith and Fred Briggs., Hobart Landing Services Company, <br />appeared in regard to a water franchise. A Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Loy and unanimously <br />carried that advertisement for public hearing of Hobart Landing <br />Services Company application as outlined in their letter of -July <br />24 in the outlined area be approved. <br />Arthur Baumhart of Fellsmere and Kenneth Pangburn appeared <br />in protestation of the moratorium restricting the placement of <br />mobile homes. A•Motion'was made -.by Commissioner Bogosian,-seconded <br />Commissioner Loy, with Commissioners Massey and McCullers voting <br />against the Motion; whereupon Chairman Dritenbas voted for the <br />Motion and the following Resolution was adopted: <br />AUG 5 1970 <br />3 <br />
