Homer C. Fletcher, County Tax Assessor appeared before the <br />Board reporting that the Tax Roll not having been approved, the <br />Tax Adjustment Board Meeting would have to be postponed until <br />10:00 o'clock A. M. on August 14. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on zoning <br />violations in the County. <br />Don Karseboom, Fellsmere Volunteer Fire Department appeared <br />in regard to the fire which destroyed the Fire Building and <br />equipment in Fellsmere and requested funds in the amount of $1200.00 <br />from the County to aid in the emergency. A Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously <br />carried that this Board authorizes expenditures of $1,500.00 on <br />behalf of the Fellsmere Fire Department. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey, the following Item to Item Transfer was <br />unanimously approved: <br />ITEM TO ITEM TRANSFER <br />90196 Reserve for Contingencies <br />68300.3 Fellsmere Fire Department <br />From To <br />$1,500.00 <br />$1,500.00 <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Massey and unanimously carried that this is to be used for fire <br />fighting equipment only. <br />The County Administrator offered the use of the tank.and pump <br />from the County garage for a.few days. <br />Billy Roberson of the Florida Forestry Service appeared regarding <br />a Florida Forestry Fire Truck to be loaned for use of the Fellsmere <br />Fire Department. A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by <br />Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that the County accepts <br />,the equipment from the Florida Forestry -Service and commends Mr. <br />Roberson on the cooperation of his Department in making the equipment <br />available at such an early time; and approves the change from the.old <br />truck they have out there to the truck granted and the Chairman is <br />authorized to sign the agreement. COP, <br />Billy Roberson also reported that he was not at this time <br />permitted to go on call for fires�n tleAbasso and Gifford areas <br />
