Homer C. Fletcher, County Tax Assessor appeared before the Board reporting that the Tax Roll not having been approved, the Tax Adjustment Board Meeting would have to be postponed until 10:00 o'clock A. M. on August 14. Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on zoning violations in the County. Don Karseboom, Fellsmere Volunteer Fire Department appeared in regard to the fire which destroyed the Fire Building and equipment in Fellsmere and requested funds in the amount of $1200.00 from the County to aid in the emergency. A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that this Board authorizes expenditures of $1,500.00 on behalf of the Fellsmere Fire Department. On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Massey, the following Item to Item Transfer was unanimously approved: ITEM TO ITEM TRANSFER 90196 Reserve for Contingencies 68300.3 Fellsmere Fire Department From To $1,500.00 $1,500.00 A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that this is to be used for fire fighting equipment only. The County Administrator offered the use of the tank.and pump from the County garage for a.few days. Billy Roberson of the Florida Forestry Service appeared regarding a Florida Forestry Fire Truck to be loaned for use of the Fellsmere Fire Department. A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that the County accepts ,the equipment from the Florida Forestry -Service and commends Mr. Roberson on the cooperation of his Department in making the equipment available at such an early time; and approves the change from the.old truck they have out there to the truck granted and the Chairman is authorized to sign the agreement. COP, Billy Roberson also reported that he was not at this time permitted to go on call for fires�n tleAbasso and Gifford areas
