<br />TUESDAY, SEPTE=R 3rd, 1929.
<br />The Board of County Commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met at
<br />the Court House in Vero Beach, air 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday, September 3rd 1929, with the
<br />following members of the Board present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J.W.
<br />IsBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin. also present were Miles Warren, Clerk, and
<br />Clark S. Rice, Sheriff.
<br />The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved.
<br />The Hour of 10 o'clock having arrived, and due notice having been given, as
<br />rewired by law, that at this time "the Board would receive .sealed bids for the
<br />or acquisition of a site for the erection of a Court House and or Jail thereon, and
<br />such notice having been published in the Fero Beach Press -Journal, as required by law,
<br />the Clerk proceeded to open and read such proposals as were then on file. All of
<br />proposals being as follows:
<br />PROPQSITION #1.
<br />Hon. Board of County Commissioners,
<br />Vero Beach, Florida.

<br />We beg to submit the following for your consideration as a site for the
<br />Indian River County Court House and Jail:
<br />Block 11, McAnsh Park,Price $2,000. subject to
<br />taxes and assessments.

<br />I herewith and hereby offer to the Indian River County, for Court House
<br />and Jail, all of Block 14, Original Town, Vero Beach, except lots 8 & 9, for the sum
<br />of 051,000.00, and will give clear title with the exception of past due =taxes and
<br />. assessments.
<br />nee payment of the 05,000.00 to be extended over a period of four years
<br />with interest at 6%.

<br />site. The taxes paid in full. I will pay for the .sanitary sewer being connected to
