To the Honorable Board of county Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida: We understand that your Honorable body has been considering the purchase of the building in the City of Vero Beach, known as the Campbell arcade for the use of Indian River County as a, Court House, and in view of this we are making you this propositions 'we have been authorized by the owners of the first mortgage on said building to offer said mortgage for sale ar its face value° plus accrued interest to date of trans- fer, and we are, therefore, in position to assign on behalf of the owners this mort- gage to Indian River County, the principal of which is Twenth thousand dollars, and on which there is delinquent interest from July 10, 1926s, at eight per cent per annum. The County or any other purchaser of this mortgage would not be called upon to pay a com- mission, as the owners of the mortgage are paying the commission themselves. The mortgage is subject to foreclosure at any time and the price quoted would be the entire cost of acquiring the building to the County at foreclosure sale, except the cost of the foreclosure proceedings.
