Motion was carried. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner <br />Dritenbas, the Board unanimously voted that the scrap in the bid <br />opening of 9:00 o'clock A. M. be awarded to the highest bidder <br />of each individual item. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, the Board unanimously moved that the Clerk purge the <br />inventory records of all surplus material disposed of as a result <br />of this bid opening. <br />The Administrator reported that a letter had been received from <br />Arnold Ramos requesting that permits for fti'ture curb cuts be forwarded <br />to the Department of Transportation; and that those cuts should be <br />associated with building permits and subdivision regulations. <br />On .Notion of'Commi"ssioner Dritenbas, second of Commissioner Loy, <br />the Board unanimously approved authorization for the Administrator <br />to advertise for bids for electrical wiring for the addition to the <br />building of the County Garage. <br />A letter was received from W. T. Carlton regarding a $10,000.00 <br />Beach Erosion Study by the State in Indian River County which may <br />lead into a grant of $40,000.00. That the Department of the Army is <br />to have a public hearing here regarding the Study on the 12th of <br />March at 10:00 o'clock. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Massey, <br />the Board unanimously voted that the Administrator proceed with <br />the installation of the side walks to Middle School #6 .at a cost of <br />approximately $2,600.00 or $2,700.00. <br />On Motion of Commissioner McCullers, second of Commissioner <br />Massey, the Board unanimously moved approval for advertisement for <br />public hearing on the Ordinance for tie down of mobile homes. <br />FES 1,971 j n <br />
