WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1971 <br />The Board, of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday, February 24, 1971 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Chairman; Alma Lee Loy, Vice <br />'irman; D H. McCul7.ers, Jr.; Jack U. Dritenbas and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of.County Commissioners; James <br />Reams, Deputy Sheriff; Alfred H. Webber, Ralph H. Stewart and Janet <br />N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. a <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if <br />there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of the• <br />r cj, lar meeting_ -:of February -,10, 1971. Comr6i6aioner Loy- retested <br />that a sentence be added on page 4 following the bid openings <br />"The Clerk was instructed to take the bids for tabulation". <br />Commissioner Loy also requested that the names in Paragraph 3, <br />Page 21 read"Harry Butler and Doug Strickland"; she also requested <br />a typogkaphical error in the spelling.of Ramos in the 4th Paragraph, <br />Page 21 be corrected. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, the Board unanimously voted, on recommendation of <br />Commissioner Dritenbas, that the policy of the minutes be changed <br />to reflect the absence of any Commissioner in the action of the <br />motion. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on <br />zoning violations; and,also reported that 91 zoning permits have <br />been issued this month, 38 of which were for mobile homes. <br />FEB 2 4 1971 <br />
