A_letter having been received from Mrs. Ammons regarding <br />occupancy of the Pleasant Ridge School Building, it was decided <br />that the group, which is represented by Mrs. Ammons, the Committee <br />and the Attorney meet for establishment of the guidelines and other <br />necessary preparations. <br />On Motion of Commissioner McCullers, second of Commissioner <br />Massey, the Board unanimously approved travel for the Members of the <br />Board, the Administrator, the Attorney,and theClerk of the Circuit <br />Court to attend the Annual Mid Year Conference of the State <br />Association of County Commissioners to be held in Jacksonville on <br />March 21, 22 and 23; and for Gladys Vigli'ano, County Welfare <br />Caseworker to attend County Welfare Executives' Meetings to be <br />held in Jacksonville on March 21,22 and 23 and to attend a Special <br />Meeting of Florida Health and Welfare Conference to be held in. <br />Jacksonville on March 4 and 5. <br />On Motion of Commissioner McCullers, second of Commissioner <br />Massey, the Board unanimously authorized the.Administrator to <br />.repair the shower on the second floor of the Civil Defense Building, <br />necessary repairs, only, not to include any redecoration, expenditures <br />not to exceed $1,000.00. <br />On Motion of Commissioner McCullers, second of Commissioner <br />Loy, the Board unanimously authorized the Administrator to pave the <br />parking lot at 15th Avenue and 22nd Street which is being acquired <br />by the County. <br />Upon Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, it was unanimously carried that the speed limit on Jungle <br />Trail be changed from 35 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour. <br />The Administrator reported that the speed studies by the <br />Department of Transportation have resulted in a change of the <br />speed limit on Ranch Road at Oslo Road to 35 miles per -hour for .2 <br />of a mile; and Oslo Road at U. S. #1 is changed from 55 miles per <br />hour to 45 miles per hour for. mile. <br />y , A, <br />
