I Pastor James Farr of the Asbury United Methodist Church; Pastor Arville.L.-Renner of the Christ Methodist Church By -The -Sea; and Reverend Pat McBride of the First Methodist Church and other Members of the Ministerial Association appeared regarding the :low- inccaue-housing problem. The County Commissioners requested that the Ministerial Association furnish them with the names of persons who would be willing to serve on a Committee to study the aspects of this problem. Frank J. Torchia, National Casheikegister Company, appeared requesting permission to go into each department in order*to study the accounting system in order to ascertain if centralized accounting and a data -,pr- stdM W(Mild bd feasible- at this time; said study to be at no expense to the County. There were no objections by the Board. The Chairman advised that permission would need to be acquired from the Department Heads in most of the offices,'as the Board has no jurisdiction over them. The Report of.Inspection of County Jails and County Prisons by the Florida Division of Corrections was received and placed on file in the office of the Clerk. The Summary of the County Health Unit Fund for the fiscal year July 1, 1970 to June 30, 1971 was received and placed on file in the office of the Clerk. Ralph Harris, Clerk of the Circuit Court, appeared on behalf of the Members of the Board of County Connissioners*, the Clerk, the Attorney and the County Administrator and presented a plaque to Alfred H. Webber, Deputy Clerk, commemorative of ten years of faithful and outstanding service. A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried that this Board (cooperate with the Department of Natural Resources, Division of.
