I <br />Pastor James Farr of the Asbury United Methodist Church; <br />Pastor Arville.L.-Renner of the Christ Methodist Church By -The -Sea; <br />and Reverend Pat McBride of the First Methodist Church and other <br />Members of the Ministerial Association appeared regarding the :low- <br />inccaue-housing problem. The County Commissioners requested that <br />the Ministerial Association furnish them with the names of persons <br />who would be willing to serve on a Committee to study the aspects <br />of this problem. <br />Frank J. Torchia, National Casheikegister Company, appeared <br />requesting permission to go into each department in order*to study <br />the accounting system in order to ascertain if centralized accounting <br />and a data -,pr- stdM W(Mild bd feasible- at this time; said <br />study to be at no expense to the County. There were no objections <br />by the Board. The Chairman advised that permission would need to be <br />acquired from the Department Heads in most of the offices,'as the <br />Board has no jurisdiction over them. <br />The Report of.Inspection of County Jails and County Prisons <br />by the Florida Division of Corrections was received and placed on <br />file in the office of the Clerk. <br />The Summary of the County Health Unit Fund for the fiscal <br />year July 1, 1970 to June 30, 1971 was received and placed on file <br />in the office of the Clerk. <br />Ralph Harris, Clerk of the Circuit Court, appeared on behalf <br />of the Members of the Board of County Connissioners*, the Clerk, <br />the Attorney and the County Administrator and presented a plaque <br />to Alfred H. Webber, Deputy Clerk, commemorative of ten years of <br />faithful and outstanding service. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by <br />commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried that this Board <br />(cooperate with the Department of Natural Resources, Division of. <br />Parks to serve at the dedication of the McLatty state Museum. <br />The Board then adjourned at 12:00 O'clock Noon and reconvened <br />at 1:15 O'clock P. m.Cur <br />.1) J <br />4.1171 <br />
