Margaret Dixon and Doctor Roy Page of the Indian River <br />County Safety Council appeared regarding a;'-safety'education program on <br />boating, and licensing of operators. The Commission was in accordance <br />with suggestions; felt this should be done`on a State -Wide Basis <br />and the matter was referred to the County Attorney. <br />A Memorardut:►was received from the Clerk stating that it <br />will be necessary to find a new polling place for Precinct No. 2 A; <br />and that Chapter, 101.71 Florida Statutes provides for the procedure <br />of changing polling places. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Dritenbas, second of Commissioner <br />Loy, the out of County travel of Forrest N. McCullers, County <br />• <br />,Agricultural Extension Agent to the University of Florida to attend <br />State DARE Meetings on March 3 and 4, was unani:mously.approved. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, the approval of petitions for admission to State Tuberculosis <br />Hospitals of Walter Lee Truitt and of Alex Brooks was unanimously <br />given. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />Massey, the applications of Charles H. Bengyak'and of Herbert Minchew <br />for license to carry firearms were unanimously approved. <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board a statement of his <br />appointments of Robert R. Allen, whose voting precinct is No. 4,- <br />of <br />;of John J. Keys, Jr., whose voting precinct is No. 4;of Roy H. <br />Raymond, whose voting precinct is No. 4-A; and of Anderson Johnson, <br />Jr., whose voting precinct is No. 1C, and the said Deputy Sheriffs <br />filed their bonds with the Clerk of the Circuit Court, which was <br />presented to the Board. On Motion of Commissioner McCullers, <br />second of Commissioner Massey and.unanimously carried, the bonds of . <br />said Deputy Sheriffs were approved and ordered filed with the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, the following Item to Item Transfer was unanimously <br />approved: <br />
