A letter was received from Watson & Company, Consulting <br />Engineers, including a brochure regarding their qualifications. <br />A plan was submitted by Sam Joyce, Sheriff, regarding <br />the addition to be made to the Jail. The plan was referred to <br />the Committee to be reported at the next meeting of the Board. <br />The Sheriff filed with the Board a statement of his <br />appointment of Alma Chesser Fred as a Deputy Sheriff, whose <br />voting precinct is No. 2-A, and the said Deputy Sheriff filed <br />her bond with the Clerk of the Circuit court, which was presented <br />to the Board. On Notion by Commissioner Loy, seconded by <br />• <br />Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried, the bond of said <br />Deputy Sheriff was approved and ordered filed with the Clerk of <br />the Circuit Court. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner <br />j Massey, the Board unanimously approved the State Witness Payroll <br />for the County Court, February Term, in the amount of $183.92; <br />and the State Witness Payroll for the County Court, February <br />Term in the amount of $223.80. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner <br />McCullers, the Board unanimously voted that the following letter <br />be written: <br />MAR 10, 1971 1s <br />1 <br />
