Stewart, <br />President of Collegiate Mascots of America, Inc., appeared before <br />the Board,.as a local taxpayer and businessman of this county. <br />Mr. Stewart stated that he has received information that <br />the United. States Military Academy is planning to obtain Mascot <br />Prints of a Bald Eagle from one'of his competitors. As far as he <br />knows, public bids were never invited for the acquisition of these <br />prints by the Academy. <br />Our Board has unanimously requested me to inquire of you <br />whether or not these are the facts of the case, and if true, to <br />respectfully request that Collegiate.Mascots of America,.A bona <br />fide Florida corporation, be afforded the courtesy of presenting <br />sample prints for your consideration, and also be given an equal <br />opportunity to submit a bid or proposal for furnishing Bald Eagle <br />Mascot prints for the United States Military Academy. <br />Your careful consideration of this request will be greatly <br />appreciated. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />Richard P.
