SC -13 . 03 Test and Inspections SC - 13 . 03 . B . Delete paragraph GC- 13. 03. 8 in its entirety, and insert the following sentences in its place: B . OWNER shall employ and pay for the services of an independent testing laboratory to perform all initial inspections , tests , or approvals required by the Contract Documents except those inspections , tests , or approvals listed immediately below . Subsequent inspections , tests , or approvals required after initial failing inspections , tests , or approvals shall be paid for by the CONTRACTOR by back charge to subsequent applications for payment . The CONTRACTOR shall arrange , obtain , and pay for the following inspections , tests , or approvals : 1 . inspections , tests , or approvals covered by paragraphs 13 . 03 . 0 and 13 . 03 . D below ; 29 costs incurred in connection with tests or inspections conducted pursuant to paragraph 13 . 04 . 13 shall be paid as provided in said paragraph 13 . 04 . 13 ; 30 tests otherwise specifically provided in the Contract Documents . SCA 105 OWNER May Stop the Work SC- 13 . 05 . A . Delete paragraph GC- 13. 05. A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its place: A . If the Work is defective , or CONTRACTOR fails to supply sufficient skilled workers or suitable materials or equipment , or fails to comply with permit requirements , or fails to comply with the technical specifications , or fails to perform the Work in such a way that the completed Work will conform to the Contract Documents , OWNER may order CONTRACTOR to stop the Work , or any portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated ; however, this right of OWNER to stop the Work shall not give rise to any duty on the part of OWNER to exercise this right for the benefit of CONTRACTOR , any Subcontractor, any Supplier, any other individual or entity , or any surety for, or employee or agent of any of them . SC - 13 . 07 Correction Period SC- 13 . 07 A . Delete the first sentence of paragraph GC43. 07. A in its entirety and insert the following sentence in its place A . If within one year after the date of Final Completion or such longer period of time as may be prescribed by Laws or Regulations or by the terms of any applicable special guarantee required by the Contract Documents or by any specific provision of the Contract Documents , any Work is found to be defective , or if the repair of any damages to the land or areas made available for CONTRACTOR ' s use by OWNER or permitted by Laws and Regulations as contemplated in paragraph 6 . 11 .
