WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21, 1971 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on Wednesday, April 21, 1971 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Chairman; Alma Lee Loy, Vice Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Jack U. Dritenbas and Edward J. Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Ralph H. Stewart and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of the regular meeting of April 7. Commissioner Loy requested that spelling be corrected on Page 1, Paragraph 3, oY the name Roschach; that on Page 3, Item 2, the figures $3,948.00 be changed to $3,940.00, and on Page 17, Paragraph 5, the words "Security Federal Savings" be changed to "Security Federal Saving and Loan Association". The Attorney requested that on Page 4, adoption of Resolution 71-21 should be changed to "The Attorney was requested to prepare a Resolution". These changes having been made, Motion was made by Commissioner. Massey, second by Commissioner Loy, and the Board unanimously approved.--the-Minutes of the regular meeting of April 7 as corrected. Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on zoning violations. Kenneth Pangburn appeared requesting an extension of time on the tentative approval of Tropical Park Subdivision. on Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner McCullers, the Board unanimously voted that a one year extension of time be given on the tentative approval of Tropical Park Subdivision. A letter was received from LeRoy Hiers, President of the Roseland Men's Club, and members of the Club appeared requesting assistance from the .County in removing trees, supplying marl and installing a fence on a County owned lot for the purpose of a baseball 1971
