WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21, 1971 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero <br />Beach, Florida on Wednesday, April 21, 1971 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Chairman; Alma Lee Loy, Vice <br />Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Jack U. Dritenbas and Edward J. <br />Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; <br />Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and <br />Ralph H. Stewart and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if <br />there were any additions or corrections to the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of April 7. Commissioner Loy requested that <br />spelling be corrected on Page 1, Paragraph 3, oY the name Roschach; <br />that on Page 3, Item 2, the figures $3,948.00 be changed to $3,940.00, <br />and on Page 17, Paragraph 5, the words "Security Federal Savings" be <br />changed to "Security Federal Saving and Loan Association". The <br />Attorney requested that on Page 4, adoption of Resolution 71-21 <br />should be changed to "The Attorney was requested to prepare a <br />Resolution". These changes having been made, Motion was made by <br />Commissioner. Massey, second by Commissioner Loy, and the Board <br />unanimously approved.--the-Minutes of the regular meeting of April 7 <br />as corrected. <br />Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector, reported on <br />zoning violations. <br />Kenneth Pangburn appeared requesting an extension of <br />time on the tentative approval of Tropical Park Subdivision. on <br />Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner McCullers, <br />the Board unanimously voted that a one year extension of time be <br />given on the tentative approval of Tropical Park Subdivision. <br />A letter was received from LeRoy Hiers, President <br />of the Roseland Men's Club, and members of the Club appeared requesting <br />assistance from the .County in removing trees, supplying marl and <br />installing a fence on a County owned lot for the purpose of a baseball <br />1971 <br />
