Upon.a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, second by Commissioner Massey, the Board unanimously voted that the Administrator work with the Roseland Men's Club ro remove the trees and supply the marl, other expenditures not to exceed $500.00. On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner Loy, the Board unanimously accepted the bid of Indian River Farm Supply, for a one ton fiat bed truck, bid' in the bid opening of April 7, in the amount of $3,940.00 as the lowest and best qualifying bid. On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner McCullers, the Board unanimously accepted the bid of Arnold Ford for two two ton flat bed trucks, as bid in the bid opening of April 7, in the amount of $12,890.00 as being the lowest and best qualifying bid. Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, second by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried that this Board has no objection to U. S. Army, Corp of Engineers Permit SAJSP 71-134, to the placement of a submarine cable across the Indian River at Wabasso SR 510. Attorney Burch left the meeting and Attorney George Collins became Acting Attorney to the Board. Commissioner Dritenbas volunteered to serve as a member of the Joint Commission with the City on the five year budgetary p t public transit plan. Yanda for an addition to the minutes regarding Sawyer Gardens Subdivision be denied at this time. The Administrator was instructed to advise Mr. Yanda that the Board would act on a replat of the Subdivision.
