Mrs. Margaret Dixon, Indian River Safety Council, appeared <br />requesting posts for signs to be erected at a bottleneck area in the <br />Indian River. The Board reminded Mrs. Dixon that they have no <br />jurisdiction in the river but that the Administrator would furnish <br />the posts. <br />The Comity Administrator presented a final plat of a <br />Subdivision known as hickory Hill Estates Subdivision and recommended <br />its final approval as meeting County Subdivision Requirements. Upon <br />a Motion made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner Massey <br />and unanimously carried the recommended final approval was given for <br />Hickory Hill Estates Subdivision with the provision that the <br />contractor put up three stop signs. and.three street signs and <br />that the street be paved from the edge of the pavement to the property <br />line, and that all other building be done in accordance with County. <br />Subdivision Requirements. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously'carried that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign release of easement and to accept the deed <br />on an exchange of easement in Crystal Sands Subdivision. <br />Foster Wright, Blue Cross -Blue Shield Representative, <br />appeared and notified the Board of an increase in rates for employee <br />hospitalization. <br />A letter was received from the Equitable Life Assurance <br />Society of the U. S. requesting an audience before the Board <br />appertaining to Employee Hospitalization. L. S. Thomas, Deputy <br />Clerk was requested to invite other bids for health insurance, <br />requesting the same coverage as afforded by Blue Cross -Blue Shield. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that the Chairman' <br />be authorized to sign a letter to the owners of the property adjacent <br />to Wabasso Beach regarding the rest.rooms on their property and to <br />let them know that the County is willing to negotiate the purchase <br />of the property. <br />V1 <br />55 <br />_ <br />NOV 10 1971 � <br />
