Materials may be new or used, but must be adequate in capacity and quality for the <br /> required usage , MUST NOT create unsafe conditions and MUST NOT violate <br /> requirements of applicable codes and standards . <br /> 2 . 02 TEMPORARY NOISE CONTROL <br /> A . Mechanical equipment shall be fitted with mufflers to reduce noise from internal t <br /> combustion type engines . <br /> Be Bells, sirens, alarms, etc . , shall be adjusted to provide adequate warnings to personnel on <br /> the project site ; however, they shall be regulated to an intensity that is amenable to the <br /> neighboring communities . <br /> C . Exterior construction work noises shall be kept to a minimum during evening, night, and <br /> early morning hours . In addition , weekend and holiday noises shall be limited to <br /> acceptable levels . <br /> D . In addition to on - site control , noise considerations shall be made to off-site vehicles and <br /> equipment (mobilization, demobilization , deliveries , etc . ) . <br /> 2 . 03 TEMPORARY DUST CONTROL <br /> • A .
