Michael ��• f / <br />The foregoing letter having been received, Mrs. <br />Jeannette Lier appeared requesting that Jungle Trail be kept in <br />its original state.of natural beauty. A Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Massey, seconded by Commissioner Loy and unanimously <br />carried that the Administrator be authorized to proceed with <br />alignment surveys and title searches and to accept quick claim deeds <br />on Jungle Trail in order that it may be designated as a County <br />Scenic Drive. Commissioners McCullers and Massey were appointed <br />as a Committee to work on scenic highways throughout the County. <br />Doctor C. C. Flood, Director of the Indian River County <br />Health Department, and Robert Jennings, County Sanitarian, appeared <br />in regard to new regulations on septic tanks by the State Department <br />of Health. Edgar Schlitt appeared as Indian River County Representative <br />to the East Central Regional Planning Council and Members of the <br />Board of Realtors were present. After considerable discussion, it <br />was decided that a joint meeting would be held with the City of Vero <br />r <br />Beach to explore the possibility.of extending the City sewerage lines. <br />Attorney Burch was requested to write to the State Department of Health <br />and to the State Association of County Commissioners in an attempt to <br />derive a solution. <br />'JAN 191 <br />[y7 <br />BpQK � AvE 04 <br />
