Southland Equipment Corp. <br />Item #1 <br />Item #2 <br />Item #2 (alternate) <br />Item #3 <br />No Bid' <br />$ 6,313.40 <br />5,304.45 <br />2,567.73 Each <br />Sanco Corporation <br />Item #1 $14,065.00 <br />Item #2 6,995.00 <br />Item #3 2,495.00 Each <br />Upon a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded <br />by Commissioner Massey and unanimously carried the above going bids <br />were referred to the Administrator for evaluation. <br />Upon a Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded <br />by Commissioner Loy, the Board unanimously approved payment of a <br />bill in the amount of $141.52 for expenses submitted by R. F. Lloyd <br />for attending the Governor's Conference -on Water Management held in <br />Miami on September 22, 23 and 24, 1971. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that expenses estimated <br />at between $2,500.00 and $3,000.00 for surveys and right-of-way <br />alignment for,,LTurgle`Trail be approved. <br />Mrs. Mary Lou Hammond appeared in regard to the sale, of <br />her property, Lot 10, Block A, Unit 1, Summerplace Subdivision, to <br />the County. A Motion was made by Commissioner Massey, seconded by <br />Commissioner Loy and unanimously carried that the Attorney proceed <br />with the option to buy, draw up a sales contract and authorize. the <br />Chairman to sign them.. <br />Mrs. Margaret Dixon, Indian River Safety Council, appeared <br />and requested that the County make provisions that a law might be <br />enacted to make it mandatory that every bicycle in the County must <br />have a light and reflector. The Attorney was requested to contact <br />the attorneys-representi.ng'the municipalities -in order that: the <br />requirements might be consistant throughout the County. <br />HOOK 15 pd�&3 <br />JAN 19 1972 <br />
