It'was decided.that Commissioner McCullers would attend <br />a dinner to be held by the Jaycees at the Holiday Inn at 7:30 o'clock <br />on Friday evening. <br />The Board then adjourned at 12:00 o'clock Noon and <br />reconvened at 1:30 o'clock P. M., the same Members being present. <br />Hal LeMieux, U. S. Employment Service, from Fort Pierce <br />appeared and answered questions on the Emergency Employment Act. <br />The Board decided to fill the following positions: <br />County Health Director <br />b <br />Sanitarian $6,000.00 <br />Secretary and Clerk 5,000.00 <br />Building Department <br />Inspector 8,000.00 <br />Zoning Department <br />Assistant Zoning Inspector 6,500.00 <br />Road and Bridge Department` <br />Heavy Equipment Operator 6,864.00. <br />Assistant Heavy Equipment <br />Operator 5,148.00 <br />Night Watchman 5,148.00 <br />Two Laborers for Landfill 8,008.00 <br />Sheriff's Department <br />Identification Man 8,505.00 <br />Night Telephone Operator <br />and Clerk 4,875.00 <br />3 Jailers 16,410.00 <br />4 Uniform Deputies 27,900.00 <br />Fire Official <br />Secretary <br />Commissioner Dritenbas entered the meeting. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Loy, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously.carried that the Board has approved these <br />new positions and authorizes the program contract and the signature <br />i <br />of the Chairman. <br />The Attorney reported that he had contacted the Director <br />of the Division of Health regarding the new septic tank regulations. <br />On Motion of Commissioner Massey, second of Commissioner Loy it was <br />unanimously carried that Commissioner Dritenbas be authorized to <br />t <br />travel to Jacksonville on February 9 to attend a meeting to discuss <br />the septic tank problem. <br />1? <br />BOOK 15 PAGE114 <br />JAN 19 1972 <br />
