B . Factory Aiming <br /> To eliminate the need to aim each individual fixture from the top of the pole during installation , <br /> all fixtures shall be aimed at the factory to the computer-derived angle . <br /> C . Factory Assembly <br /> To ensure fast , accurate connections , the pole -top luminaire assembly shall be completely <br /> assembled in the factory . The luminaire assembly shall consist of a lamp , lamp socket, <br /> reflector , lens , lamp cone , reinforcing retaining ring , adjustable aiming mounting device , steel <br /> cross arms , and integral wiring enclosed in a rigid raceway . <br /> D . Labeled Assembly <br /> To provide easy identification during installation , all components shall be labeled . <br /> E . Pole Attachment of Electrical Component Enclosure <br /> To provide fast, trouble-free installation , the electrical enclosure shall attach to the pole with a <br /> device that is sufficient to align the enclosure and support the weight . This shall be a sealed <br /> joint with a non -threaded connection to provide wiring access from the pole to the enclosure <br /> for both the primary and secondary circuits . <br /> To provide watertight wire access , the connection will be gasketed . All wire passages shall be <br /> " burr-free" to prevent wire abrasion damage . <br /> F . Landing Lugs in Electrical Box <br /> To allow faster, more reliable installation , the breaker in each electrical enclosure shall provide <br /> landing lugs for the conductor that provides power to the pole . <br /> G . Installation Instructions and Video <br /> The manufacturer of the lighting equipment shall provide installation instructions featuring <br /> photographs , graphics , and written directions . Videotape or DVD showing an overview of the <br /> installation of the system is requested , but not required . <br /> H . Universal Cross arm Orientation <br /> To make pole alignment easier and more reliable , the pole foundation shall be designed so the <br /> pole can be rotated in any direction to allow for universal orientation of the cross arms to the <br /> playing field <br /> I . Single Shipment Delivery <br /> All lighting equipment and poles shall arrive at the job site at the same time . <br /> 1 . 8 WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE <br /> A . 25 -Year Warranty : Each manufacturer shall supply a signed warranty covering the entire system for 25 <br /> years . Warranty shall guarantee light levels ; lamp replacements ; system energy consumption ; <br /> monitoring , maintenance and control services , spill light control , and structural integrity . Manufacturer <br /> shall maintain specifically-funded financial reserves to assure fulfillment of the warranty for the full <br /> term . Warranty may exclude fuses , storm damage , vandalism , abuse and unauthorized repairs or <br /> alterations . <br /> PART 2 — PRODUCT <br /> 2 . 1 LIGHTING SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION <br /> A .
