Mr. Himanshu Mehta, P.E. <br />1 December 2009 <br />Page 6 <br />Geosyntec has reviewed work completed during the period, and consistent with our 9 October <br />2009 email (see Attachment D), is in agreement with the work items submitted for payment which <br />are also in accordance with the Bid Form for the borrow pond construction project. Also, since the <br />Contractor has completed its work under the contractor, Geosyntec is in agreement with its request <br />to release the retainage amount of $22,468.88. <br />With the submission of this final invoice, the total invoiced amount for the borrow pond <br />construction project is $278,908.50. This is less than the total budget amount of $298,864.52 <br />approved by the SWDD Board on 14 April 2009, <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Based on the review and evaluation presented above, including the engineering and construction <br />support services provided during construction, Geosyntec recommends payment of the final <br />invoices in the amounts of $605,392.54 and $76,688.60 to WMIF for the vertical expansion and <br />partial closure and borrow pond development projects, respectively. Both projects were completed <br />below the respective budgets approved by the SWDD Board on 14 April 2009. <br />CLOSURE <br />Geosyntec appreciates this opportunity to provide our services to Indian River County Solid Waste <br />Disposal District on this project.
