THE ATTORNEY WAS ADVISED TO PREPARE A RESOLUTION RE- <br />GARDING A UTILITIES DEPARTMENT FOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND PRESENT <br />1T AT THE NEXT MEETING. <br />CHAIRMAN BOGOSIAN RETURNED AND AGAIN PRESIDED, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DRITENBAS, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTEDI <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72 - S 6 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH NATIO24AL CITY MANAGE- <br />- MrNT COMPANY AND STATE OF FLORIDA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATIO`1 FOR <br />FEASIBILITY STUDY AND FOR A FIFTY <br />PER CENT GRANT FOR A TRANSPORTATION <br />STUDY IN THE VERO BEACH, INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY AREA <br />WHEREAS, the joint Bus Study Committee of the City of <br />Vero Beach and Indian River County has recommended to the Board <br />of County Commissioners of Indian`River County that a feasibility <br />study be undertaken by National City M'anagement,Company of <br />transportation problems in _indian River County,.and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has agreed with National <br />City Management Company to provide these services for a total <br />cost not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Trans- <br />portation has agreed to grant Indian River.County up to the <br />sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) or an amount equal <br />to fifty per cent (50%) of the total cost of the study and <br />services rendered, whichever is less; and <br />WHEREAS, this Board authorized such a study, <br />NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERSOF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />the 11emorandum of Agreement between the State of Florida <br />Depart-ment of Transportation, National City Management <br />Conpany, and Indian River County, Florida is hereby approved <br />and the Chairman and Clerk of the Board are authorized to <br />execute said agreement on behalf of Indian River County. <br />The foregoing Re solution was offerod by Commis inner <br />Alma Lee Loy, who moved to adopt the motion, was sccondrxd by <br />sou 15 �-A ,385 <br />JUI 1 2 1977 <br />
