ORDINANCE NO. 87 - 47 <br />The application shall be on a form provided by the County and <br />shall include all information required for a complete application. <br />All such applications shall also be accompanied by a fee, as <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners. The complete <br />application and fee must be submitted at least N¢4WA2,Ohl/lays <br />ten (10) working days prior to the proposed commencement date for <br />the use. <br />a. Termination <br />At the end of the time period for which the temporary <br />use was- permitted, including any renewal or extension <br />periods, the use shall be discontinued, and all tem- <br />porary structures involved removed. Failure to comply <br />with this requirement shall be a violation of this <br />Ordinance. <br />b. Renewals, Extensions <br />Requests for the renewal or extension of a temporary use <br />may be made to the Director of Planning and Development. <br />Such renewal or extension may be granted, subject to the <br />standards and procedures of this Section." <br />Section 3 <br />Establish section 25(c)(3) of Appendix A, Zoning, Indian <br />River County Code of Laws and Ordinances as follows: <br />"e. Special vehicle sales events <br />(1) Definition <br />A special vehicle sales event shall be defined as a <br />temporary activity having a duration of four or fewer <br />consecutive days for the sale of vehicles held at a site <br />not approved as a permanent vehicle sales facility and <br />conducted by one or more vehicle dealers having a valid <br />Indian River County occupational license. <br />(2) Special <br />vehicle sales <br />events shall <br />meet <br />the <br />following <br />c <br />(a) Said events shall be conducted on property having <br />commercial or industrial zoning, or on property <br />approved for special public events, such as the <br />fairgrounds site. <br />(b) Said events shall be conducted on property having <br />existing, permanent, and permitted driveways and <br />access points. No new driveways (road cuts) are <br />permitted in conjunction with sales events. <br />(c) Said events shall be conducted on property having <br />adequate area for vehicle display and employee and <br />customer parking. Vehicle display areas may be <br />unpaved; employee and customer parking areas must <br />be paved. Vehicles offered for sale must be <br />displayed only in areas identified as display areas <br />on the scaled drawing submitted as part of the <br />temporary use permit application. Employee and <br />customer parking must be provided at a rate of one <br />(1) space per 500 square feet of vehicle display <br />area. <br />CODING: Words in type are deletions from existing <br />law; words underlined are additions. <br />
