PRESENT WERE ALMA LEE Loy, VICE CHAIRMAN, .JACK U. DRITENBAS <br />AND EDWARD .JAASSEY,. ABSENT WERE RICHARD P. BOGOSIAN, CHAIRMAN, <br />AND DB.'MCCULLERS, JR. ALSO PRESENT WERE .JACK G. .JENNINGS, <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR; PAUL D. BURCH, ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS; L.S. THOMAS, ELIZABETH FORLANI, DEPUTY CLERKS AND <br />JAMES REAMS, DEPUTY SHERIFF. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AND ASKED IF <br />THERE WERE ANY ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR. <br />MEETING OF AUGUST 9TH, 1972, 'THERE WERE NONE AND ON MOTION.BY <br />COMMISSIONER DRITENBAS, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER MASSEY, VICE CHAIRMAN <br />Loy VOTED IN FAVOR. AND THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF AUGUST <br />9TH, 1972 WERE UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AS WRITTEN. <br />DEWEY WALKER, ZONING INS.PECTOR REPORTED ON ZONING VIOLATIONS. <br />DEWEY WALKER AND THE ADMINISTRATOR BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION <br />OF THE BOARD A MINING OPERATION THAT IS BEINGCONDUCTED BY DONALD <br />WILLIAMSON, SEBASTIAN FLORIDA AT GOVERNMENT LOTS 3 AND 4, SECTION <br />8, TOWNSHIP 31S, RANGE 39 E, WITHOUT A PERMIT OR TENTATIVE SITE <br />PLAN APPROVAL. THE SHELL MATERIAL BEING EXCAVATED IS BEING USED AS <br />FILL ON MR. WILLIAMSON'S PROPERTY AND IS ALSO BEING SOLD TO MACASPHALT <br />CORPORATION, WHO IS.UNDER CONTRACT TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT <br />OF TRANSPORTATION TO REBUILD STATE ROADS 606 609 AND INTERSTATE 95. <br />IN HALTING THIS MINING OPERATION, MACASPHALT CORPORATION HAS HAD TO <br />STOP WORK ON'THE ABOVE ROADS. TENTATIVE SITE PLANS ARE BEING PREPARED <br />BY S.P. MUSICK, SURVEYOR. AND WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE BOARD AS SOON <br />AS POSSIBLE. <br />GEORGE BULTEZ APPEARED REPRESENTING A DELEGATION. FROM THE <br />ROCK RIDGE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION. MR. BULTEZ REQUESTED THE <br />BOARD TO CLARIFY TO THE ROCK RIDGE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION THE <br />PROCEDURE THAT MUST BE.FOLLOWED BEFORE THE INSTALLATION OF STREET <br />LIGHTS CAN BE EXPECTED.
