ORDINANCE 16"60 <br />Section 3. Establishment date. <br />The following named persons shall constitute <br />the Indian River County Public Library Advisory <br />Board established by this Ordinance until December 1, <br />1986, at which time the appointments described in <br />this Ordinance shall become effective: <br />Dr. Jeffrey Slade <br />Mary Louise Scheidt <br />Betty Gene Hensick <br />Terry Goff <br />Fred West <br />Fran Ross <br />Kathy Dowd <br />Peg Rondeau <br />Sam Pascal <br />The directors of the Indian River County Library and the <br />Sebastian Area County Library shall also serve on the Board <br />as ex officio, non-voting members. Five voting members of <br />the current board shall constitute a quorum. Any vacancies <br />in the present Board as well as any additions to the Board <br />shall be filled by appointments made by the Board of County <br />Commissioners, <br />Section 4. Severability. <br />If any section, part of a sentence, paragraph, phrase <br />or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to <br />be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holdings <br />shall not affect the remaining portions hereof and it <br />shall be construed to have been the legislative intent <br />to pass this ordinance without such unconstitutional, <br />invalid or inoperative part, <br />Section 5. effective date. <br />The provisions of this Ordinance shall become effective <br />upon <br />receipt <br />from the <br />Florida <br />Secretary <br />of State of <br />official <br />acknowledgment <br />that <br />this <br />Ordinance <br />has been <br />filed with the Department of State. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commission- <br />ers of Indian River County, Florida on this 13th day of <br />August, 1986. <br />
