1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />A <br />a <br />M <br />C <br />On motion of Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Yongue it was ordered <br />that the telephone bill of 018.80 for phone in county Judge's office be paid .and <br />future bills for telephone in . that office be paid by the County for County purposes. <br />And that this bill be turned back for itemized bill of same and all expense in conn- <br />ection with County business be paid by the County. <br />The following road petition was received, read and filedc <br />ROAD PETITION. <br />STATE OF FLORIDA ) <br />s <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER) <br />To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of said County. <br />Gentlemen: <br />Wes the undersigned, citizens of the County of Indian River, State of Flo - <br />rids, respectfully represent that the necessities of the public require a County Road <br />to be laid out as follows, to -wit: Commencing at a point where Road No. 12 (located <br />in Fellemere Fauns Compagy's subdivision of Twp. 31 Range 37) intersects Tracts 1334 <br />and 1338, running North from this point to a point where Road 7 intersects Tracts <br />834 and 835. `there is a road right-of-way over this route at present", fence lines <br />having been established allowing for this road and considerable traffic now passes <br />over the outh portion of it, this road right-of-way having been allowed by the pro- <br />perty owners to the extent of 30 feet in width, some ten or twelve years ago, said <br />road right-of-way is a continuation of a County Road, 30 feet in width, running from <br />the North Boundary of City of Fellsmere to the point of beginning for the proposed <br />road. Said road right-of-way to be not less than Thirty feet in widthe <br />ae therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a <br />County <br />Road as <br />above <br />described, <br />and we, the owners of the <br />land through which said <br />road is <br />sought <br />to be <br />laid out, <br />in consideration of the sum <br />of One dollar to us each <br />and severally in hand paid by the said County of indian River, the receipt of which <br />is hereby acknowledged, hereby agree to give the right-of-way through our lands, as <br />shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by <br />reason thereof. <br />H.H. Manager <br />it w4s ordered that G.E.Barkoskie, H.H.Pennington and D.L.1eisher, be appointed <br />a. Committee to view, mark and lay out the above road and report to this Board. <br />The several bills and accounts' against t he County, having been audited, were <br />ermined, and found to be correct were approved by a majority of the County Commiss- <br />ioners present and ordered paid. The said bills and accounts being on file in the <br />Clerk's office and by reference thereto is made a part of these minutes. The warrants <br />so issued, from the respective funds, in settlement of such accounts being listed <br />completely in the County Finance Record, as provided by law, and reference to said <br />County Finance record is made a part of these minutes as fully and completely a:s if <br />the said warrants were set out herein in detail. <br />r <br />The County Depositories filed their monthly statements of the various accounts <br />of the County, showing receipts and disbursements, which having been checked were found <br />to be correct. <br />There beim no further business on motion made, <br />adjourned until `Uesday, November 19th 1929. <br />ATTEST: ,Clerk <br />I it <br />seconded and carried the Board <br />jj <br />5 <br />
